Fantastic Fundraising

Following our recent Sweet Sixteen event to raise money for Julia’s House, we received the following message:
“Thank you to everyone at Mploy so much for your fantastic fundraising at your Sweet Sixteen Event and your donation of £677.95. It was great to meet so many of you and for your generosity and enthusiasm on the day.
This amount could pay for a six hour play session at the hospice for 4 school age children. These sessions give fun and wonderful care for the children and vital respite time for their parents.
By supporting Julia’s House you are helping to make life better for local families with seriously ill children. As you can probably imagine, caring full-time for a child with complex needs is extremely tough and can be exhausting. Without Julia’s House to turn to for regular respite many families feel they are close breaking point. Together we can give these families a life-line and somewhere to turn when times are tough.
As one of our mums said: “The only support we have is from Julia’s House – and our lives have been transformed by it. Julia’s House has made an unbelievable difference in how we are able to cope.”
