Happy New Year

We are hopeful that the large majority will have enjoyed a lovely Christmas with family and friends and no doubt enjoyed Turkey, Tinsel, Bubbles and all of the other nice things the festive period has to offer.
It is of course important for us to remember that there are less fortunate people in our local communities that struggle to make ends meet over the Christmas period, this year more so than ever before. So in the run up to Christmas the team at Mploy undertook to collect donations from our staff, agency workers and local communities to deliver to food banks local to our respective office locations.
Foodbanks are becoming an increasingly valuable commodity in the current economic climate, and the people who run and organise them provide a vital service to local communities, so we were happy to support in any way we could.
We were able to make donations to the following food banks amongst other:
- Basics Bank, Totton
- Bournemouth Foodbank
- Foodbank, Dorchester Community Church
- Liam’s House, Bournemouth
When we made the deliveries, the donations were always gratefully received by the wonderful teams of volunteers who give up their time to support these worthy causes, it was a privilege to see first-hand how in times of need local communities pull together to support each other in their free time. Everyone at Mploy would like to pass on our thanks to the food banks who support our local communities and will continue to support them throughout the year as and when we can. To this end, if anyone would like to make a donation but struggle to find time to get to the food banks, then please feel free to bring them to your local Mploy branch location and we will ensure safe delivery.
