• Carry out instruction of canteen supervisor
• Ensure food safety is maintained at all times
• Assist with food preparation, cooking and
serving food to staff
• Ensure all food is handled and served
correctly
• Carry out cleaning duties of the kitchen,
canteen and surrounding areas as
required, ensuring cleaning is carried out in
accordance with food safety
requirements
• Support the Canteen supervisor in managing
resources efficiently so as to
minimise waste and to adhere to
organisation’s green objectives
