Our client based at Lakeside has an immediate requirement for multiple Customer Service Advisors to join their busy and growing case management team.
The Customer Service Case Manager is a key role in the Medical Assistance department, they provide a lifeline to customers anywhere in the world and deal with their cases in real-time, as they happen. The work is similar to calls that other emergency services would deal with, so you will need to be highly empathetic, tolerant and you will need to be particularly emotionally resilient.
The role can feel very unpredictable due to its emergency nature and the volume of cases and tasks
that need to be handled daily. Case Managers do not know the type of call they will be handling until
the customer starts to describe what is happening.
Structured training over several weeks is given to understand how to manage these calls effectively and progress cases to conclusion. Your main responsibility will be to ensure that customers are provided with first class customer service in their time of need, you will efficiently and accurately assist with policy holders claims in line with the coverage provided by their policy looking out for the interests of both clients and customers.
Applicants must be able to evidence the following skills and experience:
· A high level of competency in using computers.
· Previous call centre / customer service experience.
· Confidence speaking to people on the phone with exceptional communication skills.
· Highly organised under pressure with a strong level of attention to detail.
· Ability to multi-task – switching between high levels of telephone calls and emails.
· Ability to convey information in a simple and clear manner.
· Natural empathy and a flair for making a difference to customer experience.
The positions are offered on a permanent basis with starts available throughout February and March, you will be in training for the first 6 weeks. You will have a standard 40-hour week on a rota basis between Monday and Sunday with working hours between 07: 45 am and 20:15 pm; you will also be required to work bank holidays if on rota to do so.
