Mploy Healthcare is supporting a local Domiciliary and Live-in homecare provider in the Dorset area in recruiting a dedicated bank of excellent care workers. The goal is to empower clients to maintain their independence and dignity in a familiar setting, providing tailored care that respects their uniqueness.
The Role:
As a Domiciliary Care Worker, you will provide professional caregiving services, enabling clients to remain independent in their own homes. Your duties will include:
- Assisting with walking and light exercise
- Planning and preparing meals followed by clean-up
- Making beds and light housekeeping (dusting, vacuuming)
- Laundry and overseeing household maintenance (housecleaning services, plumber, gardener)
- Running errands
- Providing transportation (using client or caregiver car)
- Locations include: Wareham, Swanage, Blandford, and Lytchett Matravers.
In sleep-over or live-in situations:
- Assisting clients to and from bed
- Assisting throughout the night as needed
- Preparing morning meals and laundry duties
About You:
We are looking for individuals with the following qualities:
- Ability to treat clients with dignity and respect
- Basic reading and writing skills in English
- Clear and effective communication in English, both in person and on the phone
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel
- Flexibility and adaptability to new situations
- Experience is required.
