MPLOY are seeking a Production Line Leader to work for a rapidly growing manufacturing business. This is a temporary to permanent position for the right candidates.

06:00 to 16:00 Mon to Fri 4 days over 5

Overtime available at 1.5x

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Production Teams: Oversee and direct a team of production operators in the daily operations of the powder blending and manufacturing lines, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency standards are met.
• Monitor Production Efficiency: Ensure that production goals are achieved by maintaining a smooth, efficient, and safe production flow. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during production.
• Quality Control & Compliance: Ensure all products meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and internal specifications. Maintain strict adherence to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
• Team Development & Training: Provide training and guidance to production staff on proper operating procedures, safety standards, and quality controls. Encourage team development and a culture of continuous improvement.
• Inventory Management: Oversee raw material usage and ensure inventory levels are sufficient for production needs while minimising waste.
• Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate production records, including output, downtime, and any issues encountered. Report performance metrics and KPIs to upper management.
• Safety and Cleanliness: Ensure a clean, safe, and organised work environment by enforcing health and safety regulations and participating in safety audits and reviews.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role in manufacturing, preferably in the nutraceuticals or dietary supplements industry.
• Strong understanding of powder blending, batching, and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of GMP, and other regulatory compliance standards.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve operational goals.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
