Job Title: School Kitchen Assistant – PART TIME
Location: Wareham
Hours: Ad-hoc – 10am to 2pm
Salary: £12.88ph
Our client in Wareham is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Part-Time Kitchen Assistant to join their team. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a key role in helping their catering team provide nutritious, well-prepared meals for students and staff.
The general duties will include:
– Assist in food preparation and cooking under the supervision of the kitchen staff.
– Ensure kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained to health and safety standards.
– Help with serving meals and portion control.
– Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in food preparation and storage areas.
– Follow all food safety regulations and school policies.
– Support with stock rotation and kitchen organization.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate the following essential skills and experience:
– Previous experience in a kitchen or food-related environment is preferred but not essential.
– Ability to work efficiently and follow instructions. Ability to work well in a team.
– Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
